Early morning madness.

Well, it's pretty bloody early if y'ask me, but the best lighting is to be had this early, especially for Mordor.
We've been shootin' lots of scenery shots. Got some beautiful panned shots done and the sets are almost entirely done. Elijah came back today (long story, not at liberity to talk about it here). Probably won't get any hobbit-stuff filmed until the 15th at the earliest. We're still runnin' behind schedule terribly. But, everyone seems to be gettin' a little more comfortable again with being back in New Zealand, the actors especially.
Expecting Dom and Liv to fly in by the end of th'month, perhaps bringin' Billy as well. Not completely sure on the dates yet, but that will be nice, to have a mini-reunion of sorts, even if they don't film (although I probably will reshoot some of Liv's scenes . . .)
Fran's calling me off, to address a shot. I love being a director. Early to rise, late to bed.
Pain is temporary, film is forever! See ya.

Date: 2002-05-16 10:57 am (UTC)The whole Rosie-George thing is really giving me the creeps. Especially since I just saw George at his 58th birthday party (not that I attended, but I saw him there).
I think he's gained weight, really.
How goes, uh, your new book? You are a writer, yes...?
